They are the nameless brave men who are working as the last line of defense at Japan's crippled Fukushima nuclear plants. They stayed behind while everyone else was sent nearly 15 miles away and radiation soars to menacing levels. There are 200 of them and they work in shifts of 50, earning the inaccurate nickname the Fukushima 50. At one point, even these men were pulled back 500 yards from the deteriorating nuke plants, but this morning it appears the crisis team was heading back in.

Japanese media reported mostly Japan Self-Defense Forces and Hyper Rescue squads. Actually, Fukushima 50 have been working with them since Mar 11 even they are sufferers.
Today, when I watched news, my eyes filled with tears. Fukushima 50 stayed at a ship. It's obviously reclusive. I guess they're exposed to radiation. Even a reporter asked ridiculous question as "so, what do you do inside the ship? Can you sleep?" (Dahhhhhh!???), Fukushima 50 answered calm. "We take a rest to prepare the next shift. At the first we barly sleep, but these days we see what we should do, so we are so relieved." Believe or not, one of Fukushima 50 apologized "We deeply apologize for the inconvenience." OMG!!! They work for us, Japanese people, why he said that!!!?? They are admirable workers!
I'd like to thank the Fukushima 50! Of course Japan Self-Defense Forces, Hyper Rescue, and local fire fighters and police men.
When I watched the news, I thought that that is the best you got (interview). All reporters should learn more sufferer's feeling and what they want to ask. I'm really fed up to watch news. You know every news on air the same thing. There are many news program. Why they don't on air different thing if we have such a disaster? How many TV report choppers have flied in Tohoku area? I know they are not authorized to rescue and supply emergency provisions. That case they shouldn't fly choppers each TV programs for save gasoline! We don't need to see that horrible Tsunami several times. We want to hear what sufferers want now.

Japanese government said people within 30 km(18 miles) of the facility north of Tokyo to remain indoors. However, Gregory Jaczko, chairman of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission said that Americans who live within 50 miles of Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant to evacuate.

But the fewer numbers of foreigners apparent in corporate offices and popular shopping districts suggest the exodus is substantial.
The greater Tokyo area is home to almost 35 million people, and the capital has been hit by rolling power blackouts and food shortages. Normally bustling streets have become strangely quiet, cast in darkness as the city's signature neon is dimmed to ease the load on power grids.
Though the Mar. 11 earthquake badly rattled the city, it did not initially trigger a rush to leave.
The threat of radiation wafting down from the damaged Fukushima plant did.
Tokyo has seen slightly elevated radiation levels in recent days, but it was concern that the Japanese government was not fully forthcoming about the crisis that led foreign governments and companies to advise their nationals to leave.
China was the first country to organize mass evacuations, providing transport for at least 3,000 of its citizens from Tokyo and northern Japan this week, according to the New China News Agency. France, followed by Britain, Germany and others, began urging its citizens to avoid non-essential travel to Tokyo and northeastern Japan.
Spain arranged for a 400-seat charter flight back to Madrid on Sunday for its nationals. The Australian government was said to be offering loans to citizens for commercial flights out of Tokyo. Taiwan boosted the number of flights from Tokyo to Taipei.
Meanwhile, several European and American companies have temporarily relocated their operations to Osaka or other Japanese cities well south of the capital.
The Japanese government contends that its response to the nuclear crisis complies with international standards and says foreign governments are being overly cautious. It is worried about the long-term effect on the attraction of Tokyo as a corporate capital, and of the potential blow to tourism.
Noriyuki Shikata, deputy Cabinet secretary for public relations at the prime minister's office, said Japan wasn't opposed to the measures taken by foreign governments. He noted that foreign governments "may take a more conservative approach. But at the same time the measures that we are implementing are in accordance with international health standards."
The U.S. government has been among those countries urging its citizens to move at least four times farther from the Fukushima plant than the 12-mile evacuation zone imposed by the Japanese. Some families of U.S. Embassy workers have left the country on two U.S. government-chartered planes.
But Washington is also wary of offending an ally.
"This was not an evacuation. It's a voluntary departure," said a U.S. official, reflecting the sensitivity surrounding the issue.
And some nations have remained circumspect. The Mozambique government, for example, said that there still was no reason for its citizens in Japan to panic.
"They're mostly students in the southern part of the country," said Ambassador Belmiro Jose Malate as he waited in line at Haneda Airport to board a plane for southern Japan on a business trip. "I know that some people have fled south to Osaka because of the nuclear scare, but there are still a lot of foreigners in Tokyo."

日本では、アメリカから1週間半遅れで"Amerian Idol X"がFOX見れます♪
今週金曜日に、Stevenがコメントで"Happy Women's day!"って言ってたから、気付いたけど。
3月8日って、Women's dayなんですよ＝私の誕生日。なんだか、Happy Birthday!って言ってもらったみたいで嬉しかった～♡（すごいソラミミアワーですね。えへへ）
で、興奮しながら見ましたよー。
今回は女性陣がスゴイ!!今、落ちて欲しくない、もっと成長を見続けたい!!って人ばかり。
私の一押し（一人には決められないっ!!）は、
Lauren（Stevenのお気に入り! 16才には全く見えないっ。すんごい素質の持ち主です。）
Pia （ルックス美しいし、声も美しい～～～!!）
Thia （本当に、美しい声を持っている16才。オーディションの時は、15才でビックリしました～!!）
Haley （typicalなアメリカの女の子。エンタテイナーです!）
男性陣は、Idolというよりもカントリーシンガーっぽい人が多いかな。でも、
アメリカだからね。大人気ですよね。
Jacob （すでに完成されている歌声。スゴイ!!）
Paul （個性が完璧にできあがっていて、プロのシンガーに見えます!）
Stefano （もうちょっと見てみたいシンガーです）
おっとと、今サイトを見たらすでに10人になっている～。
結果を先に見てしまった（汗）
本当に、今回はプロじゃないのぉ!?って疑える位、みんなすごい実力を持っています。
落ちてもスカウトされてデビューするんでしょうね～。
コンテスタントは、Randy、JLo、Stevenの前で歌うのは慣れただろうけど、
でも凄い!この3人の前で（観客も半端じゃないくらい入っているけどね）、しっかり歌えている!!
当たり前だけど・・・。

とは言え、
"save on electricity（節電）"しなくちゃね。
東北地方の被災者の方々が、毎日毎日頑張って復興のためにがんばっているんだから、
関東も節電しなくちゃね。

memory of March 11
昨日3/11(金)は、東北&関東にとって大きな衝撃を受けた日でした。
関東は、交通機能がマヒ程度だったので、自分達で守る手段を学んだ日だと思います。
だけど、東北の人達は、そんな生易しいことじゃ済んでません。
いくつかの街が、Tsunamiにのみ込まれ、
一瞬の内に混乱の惨状になってしまったんですもん。
ホントに、心が痛いです。同じ日本に住んでいながら、何もしてあげられないのが。
だから、せめて電力をセーブできるよう、電話回線を多くの人が使えるよう、
使用は控えてます。
おっと、今もまたanother aftershockです！船酔いからいつ開放されるかな…
昨日、最初の地震が起きた時、クライアントの所へ向かうため、
九段下で地下鉄乗り換えで、ちょうど半蔵門線に乗った時です。座って、間もなく発車するときに
警報が鳴り響き、次の瞬間に、地下鉄がまるで観覧車の激しい揺れみたいに、ゆさゆさ揺れたんです。
地下鉄に乗ってて地震に合うのは初めてで…パニックを起こしちゃいけないと思って、ホームに出て車掌さんのアナウンスを
待ってたんです。そしたら、「ホームより地下鉄内の方が安全です！」とアナウンスがあったので、
一先ず車内へ。そのあと、aftershockが2回あり、車掌さんが「地上に逃げてください！」と、叫ぶので、乗客みんなで地上へ。
この時、乗客誰一人と取り乱さず冷静だったから、事故もおこらず良かったです。
九段下の駅地上に出てビックリしたのが、自分の場所がないくらい、人の山ができてたんです！
中には、twitterに投稿するんだか、人の山をわざわざ立ち止まって写真を撮る人達が…危機感がないですよね。
地下にいて、そこまで大きな揺れを感じなかったので、後からニュースで知ったのですが、まさに、九段下駅の近くの九段会館で、大変な事故が起こっていたんですね！
クライアントの所へなんとかして行くべきか、会社へ戻るべきか、
数秒考えて、徒歩で45分なので会社へ向けて歩きました。途中、
消防車や救急車が行きかい、これは毎度日本の悪いルールだと考えさせられるのですが、
緊急車を優先させると言う行為をとっさに取れないこと。アメリカじゃ、怒鳴られます！
直ぐに、車を傍に寄せしょう！！
街歩いてると、大きいテレビがあるお店は、店頭へ置いて、行き交う人へ情報を提供していました。
お昼を食べてなかったから、starbucksが開いてたので、hot teaとドーナツ買って、またひたすら歩く。
会社に着いたら、同じ部署の人達がロビーに集合してたのを見て少し安心。
今回、改めて、携帯の電波弱さを思いしりました。S社は関東圏では全く役立たず。dとaは繋がりにくいけど、
何回かトライしてると掛かるんですよ。でも、見直したのが、twitterとfacebook。伝言板として大活躍！
その後は、電車かいつ復旧するか分からなと、トニュースで聞いたので、コンビニに食料を調達に。
だけど、すでに、サンドイッチやオニギリはall gone! ラッキーな事にお湯は
あるから、カップラーメンを購入。
ニュース聞きながら、仕事をかたずけてたら、
同僚が、「帰りたいから取りあえず、秋葉原まで行く」と。電車止まってるし、寒い中いつ開通するか分からないし、
暗くなるから辞めといたほうが安全だよと行ったけど…聞かずに出てっちゃったんです。
そしたら、1時間して戻ってきて、「秋葉原、尋常じゃないくらい人が溢れてたし、駅もシャッターが降りてたから戻ってきた」と。I told you so!と言いたい所だけど、彼女も彼女なりに不安なをだろうと思って、
コンビニに食料を買いに行こうって、誘ったら、あらあらあら、さっきより、物がない！
彼女が買ってるとき、心無い叔父さんが、店長さんに「倉が建っちゃうくらい大盛況だね」って。驚き！
店長さんや店員さんだって、家に帰りたくてめも帰れないし、開けてくれてることに感謝した方が良いくらいなのに…こうゆう
混乱の時に、人間の素がでるのね。
で、ひたすら時間を会社で費やし…
同僚は、渋谷に居て、家に帰るにも遠いし、まだ会社の方が近いからと、4時間かけて徒歩で戻ってきました！
東京ビックサイトに居た人は、5時間だって！
横浜へ車で営業に出てた人は、11時間ですよ！L.A.まで行けちゃいます。
会社に居て、良く聞いたのは、救急車と警察のサイレン。渋滞なのり無茶したドライバーが事故起こしちゃうみたいです。
ラジオでも、何度か呼びかけていたけど、「皆な早く家に帰りたい気持ちは同じです！車の方達は、自分の暖かいスペースがある事を忘れずに、イライラせずに運転してください！」って。その通り。
TV見たら、車のライトで道が埋めつくされてましたよねー。
自分は、温かい場所に居て幸せだと思って、会社にいたんです。
12時越えた頃から、ちらほらと地下鉄が動きだしたニュースが流れだし。とは言え、まだまだaftershockが5〜10分間隔だったので
電車の中でまた起こって、居場所が無くなるのが嫌だなと思って、
明るくなったら帰ろうと思っていたんです。
そしたら、一度秋葉原まで行って戻ってきた同僚が「あー、もう耐えらない！早く帰りたい」って大人げない発言するから、
「仙台の人に比べれば、私達は自分のスペースあるし、
温かいんだから、今急いで駅行って、混乱の中別の事故に合うかもしれないから、
ここは落ち着いて、せめて自分が乗る電車が動く確認を取ってからでも遅くないんじゃない？」って、言い聞かせ、
一応、朝方まで居てもらいました。5：30頃、また彼女が、帰る、帰るって言い出すから、方向別だけど、とりあえず会社を出て、
駅へ。私はなんだかんだスムーズに、1時間で家に到着。
結局、彼女は電車動いてなく、寒いのに駅で2時間も待ってたって。動いたものの、途中までしか電車は行けず、親に迎えにきてもらったものの…5：30に会社でて、11：30に家に到着したらしいです。
彼女の義理の妹さんは、会社の同僚が同じ方面で車に乗せてもらったらしいけど、有楽町〜千葉まで車で約13時間！！
災害の時は、とにかく冷静にならないとね。
自分の居る場所が確保できるなら、災害じゃない他の事故に巻き込まれないようにするのが、
まず大事！
車で移動も良いけど、混雑は覚悟の上で、絶対事故を起こしちゃダメ！！
緊急車の音が聞こえたら、まず道を譲ること。
とにかく、冷静が一番。と、今回学びました。

車で移動も良いけど、混雑は覚悟の上で、絶対事故を起こしちゃダメ！！
緊急車の音が聞こえたら、まず道を譲ること。
とにかく、冷静が一番。と、今回学びました。

birthday wish...
おっとっと。気付いたらもう3月。
そして、あらあら、my birthdayぢゃーないですか☆
毎年恒例、この時期は目がグルグル回るほど、
忙しいんですよねー。少しだけslow downしたかな….
と言っても、まだまだ3月一杯は気が抜けないのー。
4月はリフレッシュしにこれも毎年恒例、L.A.行ってきまーす。これが楽しみで、仕事してる感じ♪
さっ、明日も頑張りましょー♪
